Falmouth Rugby Football Club are holding an EGM meeting next Monday 20th Feb from 18:00 at the Clubhouse and welcome all to contribute.
It’s not just about getting the voice of the players heard. It’s a wider generational and cultural thing. We are a traditional Club established in 1873 looking for creative thinking to shape the next 150 years.
You may have noticed the world is changing and presents a lot more challenges e.g. issues in the global game, increasing costs, etc. The things that make us all happy, like rugby, music or theatre are becoming more important and they all rely on the passion of a few volunteers.
Running our club is getting difficult for the amazing volunteers, parents, players, supporters the ones that are currently involved and many hands makes for light work. We have people of real talent, of charisma and of energy.
We’re asking all to be aware of the work that goes into the club we’re proud to call our own and send out a plea for some extra help.
You could be part of a group changing the culture of the game and the club off and on the field at the heart of the community.
We all need to have a place to be happy when days are tough.
So on behalf of Falmouth Rugby and the next generation of boys, girls. Women and men, we ask you take some time to come to our club meeting, one & all.
People power made community sport happen. Made rugby happen. Made our club what it is today.
Maybe there is something you could see yourself doing to take our club forward.
